I ran in my first marathon yesterday in Detroit, MI. It was an excellent course, and it was extremely well organized. The course starts in downtown Detroit, goes over the Ambassador Bridge into Windsor, Ontario, uses the tunnel to get back to Detroit, and finishes on the 50-yard line of Ford Field. The spectators were plentiful and enthusiastic. Every detail was taken care of and the finishers medal was great. I highly encourage anyone to consider the Detroit Marathon for next year!
